Alex Lodge

Alex joined GolfMagic as Video and Social Media Executive in July 2020 and then soon got promoted to Equipment Editor as a result of his work ethic, passion for the game and incredible knowledge of all things golf equipment. Alex is the face of the GolfMagic YouTube channel, looking after all of our latest equipment reviews. 

If you are in need of golf equipment advice then Alex is your man. He also controls our social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok. Alex graduated with a Digital Media BSC at the University of Brighton. Prior to GolfMagic, Alex had a spell at American Golf building his knowledge and understanding of all things golf equipment. 

Alex also worked briefly as a scoreboard carrier at The Open Championship in 2012 and 2013, once carrying the board for Rory McIlroy’s group. An ardent Spurs fan, Alex has a handicap of 8 and can hit drives well over 300 yards on repeat. His favourite golfers are Jordan Spieth and Max Homa, and he is a member at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate in West Sussex. Alex’s favourite track in the world is the Old Course at St Andrews.
